In addition to a vast array of base weapons, Vampire Survivors features powerful weapon evolutions that require a specific combination of weapons and items to be unleashed. Evolved Weapons are significantly stronger versions of their base weapons that typically deal more damage, have a faster uptime, and affect a larger area.

This guide will explain Evolved Weapons and show you exactly which Weapons and Items you'll need to combine in order to upgrade your base weapons into some truly destructive weaponry.

Greatest Jubilee

The Greatest Jubilee weapon was introduced in the Vampire Survivors' Patch 1.0. Greatest Jubilee can be unlocked by defeating the final boss of the Eudaimonia Machine, the Director.

Summon fireworks with the Greatest Jubilee. At max level nine, when Greatest Jubilee's finisher is active, it will cause a light show on the bottom of your screen. Greatest Jubilee can be leveled up further with Limit Break. Greatest Jubilee pairs well with Heart of Fire (XIX).

Fuwalafuwaloo

Vampire Survivors' 0.7.2 update added a ton of new content including the weapon union Fuwalafuwaloo. Fuwalafuwaloo can be unlocked by pairing the weapon evolution Bloody Tear with a Level 8 Vento Sacro. Once you have both weapons in your inventory you'll need to defeat a high-tier enemy, after the 10-minute mark, and collect the chest they'll drop upon death.

Fuwalafuwaloo's attack is very similar to Vento Sacro's as they both strike in a horizontal, Whip-like fashion, that aims in the direction that you're facing. When landing a Critical Hit, Fuwalafuwaloo triggers an explosion that provides further damage to enemies and it simultaneously restores 8 Health.

Fuwalafuwaloo can be improved by pairing it with the Sarabande of Healing or Slash Arcana and it benefits greatly from high Luck and Area stats.

How to Evolve Weapons

In Vampire Survivors you'll combat a rapidly growing horde of baddies that'll randomly drop Experience Gems upon death. Once you've collected a bunch of XP-gems, your Level will increase to a new rank and you'll be given a choice of three to four Weapons and Items to upgrade or add to your loadout.

To get Evolved Weapons you'll need to upgrade specific Weapons to Level 8 and combine them with a singular compatible Item. Once you've met these two criteria you'll have to kill a boss-level monster after surviving for at least 10-minutes. The high-tier enemy will drop a Chest upon death and, if done correctly, the dropped Chest will reward you with a markedly stronger weapon that'll strike fear into the hearts of your ghoulish foes.

Evolved Weapons Example

To further drive home the idea of evolving weapons and the combinations needed, let's look at an example. To obtain the Evolved Weapon Bloody Tear you'll need to:

1. Select the Whip weapon when leveling up (or choose Antonio since the Whip is his starter weapon)
2. Upgrade the Whip to Level 8
3. Collect the Hollow Heart item when leveling up, when opening a Chest, or from floor loot
4. Defeat a boss enemy (usually just larger variants) after surviving past the 10-minute mark

Your Bloody Tear Evolved Weapon will be found within the Chest dropped by the boss enemy and you'll be ready to mow down those monsters!

Note that the compatible Item doesn't necessarily need to be acquired after you've upgraded your Weapon to Level 8. You can acquire the Item at any point during your run.

Weapon Unions

Weapon Unions are created by a combination of two compatible weapons that have both been upgraded to Level 8 and potentially an additional compatible item. While similar to Evolved Weapons the major difference is that instead of replacing one base weapon upon evolution, Weapon Unions will replace both of your Level 8 weapons.

Below you'll find a chart detailing the Weapon Unions currently available in Vampire Survivors. Note that the weapons do not need to be obtained or upgraded in a specific order and that you'll still need to defeat a high-tier enemy after the 10-minute mark to collect the Weapon Union.
