There are actually two or three. First open the driver's door and look at the part of the dash that faces the door. That is your primary fuse panel. You just have to remove the plastic cover. It has a finger hole in it to push it towards the front of the vehicle and pull out on it. Look in the same location on the passenger side for the secondary ( if equipped ).The third location is under the hood. It will be located directly behind the battery. It has a plastic cover with about two or three snaps on it. Most of those fuses pertain to the vehicles engine and high amperage devices. There is also a primary fuse for the other fuse boxes. You will also find the majority of your relays inside of there.

T had the same problem with my 1997 cartire, Frtst off you must find the fuse box which is located under drtvers side dash. remove the fuse block cover,there you will find sevral tipes of fuses rainging from 5,10,15 & 20 amps. check the fuse corresponding with the altinator, thier are two (2) of them .1 (one) there and the otherin the power fuse box under the hood on the passenger side if the car.if found to be bad Replace the fuse with the same type {examp a 5 out a 5 in ) fuse that was removed from thier spots. 3 make surt there is nothing lying on the hood or motor that will fall into turning parts and cause ingery. Staet Engin.Check airbag light if on recheck fuses,if the fuses are blown.you may have a short to ground if fuses are not blown and the tight is still on you may have a bad alternator.some say that I had clock spring problem but Im the end it was just a fuse

Some vehicles put the fuse box on the side of the dash. Open the drivers door, and look at the side of the dash. there should be a removable panel for the fuses.

you might find the fuse diagram on the inside the fuse box cover under the dash ......cheers

THERE ARE TWO FUSE BOXES ON THE CAR ONE UNDER THE DASH AND ONE UNDER THE HOOD. SHOULD BE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF ENGINE COMPARTMENT WITH A COVER HELD ON WITH SCREWS OR LATCHES. ON THE INSIDE OF THE LID ON BOTH BOXES THERE SHOULD BE DIAGRAM OF LOCATIONS FOR THE FUSES

There is anther fuse box inside the vehicle.I'm just not positive exactly where,but there is one inside.Look around under dash on driver side with a flashlight,get on the floor board and look up.General Motors sometimes puts them at the end of the dash on drivers side.I have seen some located behind a cover,on the driver side lower dash.Just have to look.It's there.
